You might only be applying for Vacation Schemes at the moment, but you’ll soon be a trainee with options to do a seat abroad.
You might not know this, but it’s common for trainees to receive an increase in their salary whilst on secondment abroad.
Spend six months abroad, and get paid more…what’s not to like eh?
This isn’t like your uni days. You don’t have to find your own accommodation, firms will provide this for you if you.
It’s easier to go to some far-flung destination, because it won’t be so far-flung.
If you are spending 6 months in Singapore, it’s easier to take a holiday to Bali. If you are in New York, the Caribbean becomes much more accessible.
When going to an international office for one of your seats, you’ll soon realise that many firms do the same. This means there is usually a ‘trainee network’ that you can tap in to to help meet people, but also to develop those long term professional relationships.
We send our trainees to four of our international offices. Which would you like best?
To travel, or not to travel…
Okay – and most importantly… have fun, don’t stress – after all, you’re on vacation!
