A chance to broaden minds and challenge stereotypes
Our annual Women in Law conference is a great opportunity for both men and women to get together and discuss the challenges facing women in today’s legal industry, and the ways in which we can all support each other to overcome these hurdles.
The conference consists of a panel Q&A with Shearman & Sterling partners, associates and trainees.
The theme for this year’s conference is Woman in Law: My Story. Our panellists will reflect on their careers so far, affirming that one size does not fit all when it comes to progressing in law.

Details: This event is open to students and graduates of all universities, degree disciplines, years and backgrounds. Shearman & Sterling wants to encourage an open discussion on balancing life with work and this event will address the issues that women find most significant when competing in the traditionally male world of city law.
The event is open to both women and men and applications close on 6 November 2022.
